Reaching Everyday: Connecting in ministry
I wanted to be a priest, but I have been driven out of the priesthood study. I have my degree in philosophy and Religious Sciences. I still want to give my life to Jesus. But I am lost and I don’t know what to do and where to go. Help me please!
Christophe emailed on 25th November. I responded. He emailed back.
Christophe lives in Bamako, Mali. In God’s sovereignty, I work closely with the technology director in Bamako.
Christophe shared his local telephone number. My co-worker in Mali, Oumar, eagerly agreed to contact Christophe and continue helping him.
Two weeks later, Christophe wrote:
It’s a pleasure for me to inform you that I have finally met your wonderful friend Oumar. He’s a man of God and very kind! He’s helping me find my road to Jesus our Savior and Lord.
Oumar recently wrote me:
Christophe was training as a priest but became disillusioned. In his frantic search for God He was led on www.ccci.org. A few weeks ago I physically met him in Bamako, He accepted the Lord through the booklet of the Four Spiritual Laws and we have had followup meetings to strengthen his new faith in Jesus Christ.
Christophe is now enrolled in the New Life Training Center in Bamako, Mali where he will learn more about his new life in Jesus Christ. He will also learn more about how to share this life with others, just like Oumar has done with him.
From a website, to an email conversation, to a physical meeting, a new believer has entered the kingdom of God. From Bamako, Mali to Orlando, Florida and back to Bamako, Mali, the internet allowed a seeker to find Jesus, to be built up in his faith, and soon to be sent out to minister to others.
And I got to be a part of this divine appointment, sitting in my home in Orlando, connected to seekers around the world.
