We were high school sweethearts in Texas in the late 60’s. We’ve been married for 46 years. We’ve served with Campus Crusade for Christ for 42 years. During the late 70s, we left America for Nigeria with one child. In the early 90’s we returned with 3 children. Overseas, we taught school, produced Jesus films in local languages, but mostly we discipled Nigerians. In the U.S., we pioneered internet evangelism and discipleship.
Our 3 children are now adults and live all over the place. The family has expanded in recent years to include 2 daughters-in-love and 5 grandchildren. We’ve lived on 2 continents and visited 3 dozen countries. During our travels, we’ve learned that everyone is searching for a meaningful life. We know they can find that fulfillment by discovering Christ who said, “I came that you might have life abundantly, full of meaning and satisfaction.” This is why we serve and live the way we do.
We love relating to other people. We love relating to each other. We love relating to our children and grandchildren. We enjoy life together.
And it’s been a very different and interesting life together.
About :: Keith
For me, life started out pretty much like others. Loving home, Little League, Boy Scouts, church activities, fishing and hunting, and family vacations were part of the fabric of my life.
Different began in college. During my junior year at Texas A&M (whoop!), someone helped me understand that the God who created and loved me had a plan for my success in life. That’s when different really began.
That year, Kay and I married and different lives became one, different futures became one, and different personalities… well they’re still different!
We became very involved in helping others come to know God’s love for them also. After a short time as an electrical engineer developing electronic systems, Kay and I joined the full-time staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. That’s when different took on a whole new meaning.
We packed up our year old daughter and moved to Nigeria in West Africa. What started as a 2 year adventure in international living turned into a 15 year life-changing experience. Now after 42 years, different has become a career in helping people understand God’s love for them and his power to give them lives of intense satisfaction.
About :: Kay
I like watching people. I like reading books. I love children, especially my own and theirs. I like playing games and watching sports. I like making lists and checking off things accomplished. I like working behind the scenes. I like making sure the details are done.
I am happy being the baby sister of my family. I am content to be the follower. So how come I end up being out front? This is something I frequently ask God. His reply includes phrases like: I have a plan for you; I am with you; I will give you strength. All of these are truths that He continues to build into my life.
I like being at home and being with family. So how did this small town girl end up traveling the world? “God has a wonderful plan for your life…”, the booklet I read started the journey. I am amazed at where His plan has taken us.

Hello Keith and Kay,
My father has always kept your family in his heart. I just returned from a month in India during which my father passed-on. He was suffering from pulmonary fibrosis for the last 5.5 years. He was a survivor with a great spirit. Till the last day he laughed with Joy and then he died in peace. My mother Aruna is well and has taken this passing in the right light and attitude. She is well. Megha is on Sabbatical from ASU, Tempe and in with my mother in Pune for the next 6 months.
I wanted to inform you about this because I know my Dad thought you to be a great friend and man. My sister and I remember you very well even though we were very young and this was many years ago. I hope our paths will cross some time soon. I live in Phoenix, so if you ever come by here, please look me up (602.617.1123).
Best wishes to you and your family.

Hello!
I am moving to Ife in July for 6 months and am hoping to get connected to a solid church while there. I was a missionary in Romania for a few years and involved in CCC in college so was searching around a bit for people who might be able to offer any help or connections and came across your site. Would love to chat more via email and learn from your time in Nigeria!
Thanks!
Liz
